We opened our doors in 1996 and are the longest serving residential hospice in the State of Minnesota.
How many patients have you cared for?
As of 2012, we have cared for over 3,000 patients and numerous families.
How is the Little Hospice staffed?
Our staffing is what makes the Little Hospice so strong. Nurses and other staff are hired for their competence and their compassion. Clinical skills are important, but hospice work requires tenderness, kindness, gentleness and love. Our hospice staff exudes these qualities. Because of the acuity of our patients, we staff mostly Registered Nurses and there are at least two nurses on duty around the clock. Our staffing is far above the industry standard.
Are there other staff personnel?
Our Interdisciplinary Team is composed of a Director, Medical Director, Director of Nursing, Chaplain, Bereavement Coordinator, Social Worker, House Manager, Administrator and Volunteer Coordinator.

The patient daily rate is $460.00 per day.

How many patients are at the Little Hospice?
There are 8 private patient rooms in our double bungalow home.
What is the average length of stay at the Little Hospice?
